Project robot designs

The visible robots are project-authored designs: an open-link loading arm, a wheeled carrier, a fixed transfer gantry, the RIG four-legged guide and the H1 humanoid. RIG and H1 share the same character geometry across their design studies, household tasks and factory work. They are illustrative characters, not models or performance demonstrations of named commercial products.

The household and loading arms retain a hierarchy-only derivative of MuJoCo Menagerie's UR5e joint frames to preserve the existing task and gripper contact positions. Copyright 2018 ROS Industrial Consortium, BSD-3-Clause. No original robot mesh, texture or material is loaded. The project’s square base, paired link plates and parallel gripper are constructed in code. Current geometry and rig provenance · Complete arm rig notice.

RIG's body, full-size rear-mounted manipulator and sensing head are generated by the shared character kit. Its current walking, greeting, ball contact, turning and inspection poses use project-authored inverse kinematics with explicit foot targets. The active RIG package no longer uses the earlier Menagerie quadruped skeleton or manufacturer meshes. The historical guide rig notice remains available to document the superseded BSD-3-Clause source. H1 uses the same head, open twin spine, limb shells and joints for household cleaning and factory assembly, with task-specific tools and hand targets.

From home to the assembly line

The same four-legged guide meets a dog in the home and continues toward the work cell. A blue module is loaded onto a carrier, transferred by a gantry, inspected and seated in a fixture. The choreography and contact checks concern this illustration, not real hardware stability, control or measured production performance.

The live scene uses one renderer and shared character geometry. The guide's colored exterior becomes paper-and-ink contours during the transition. Factory surfaces provide depth masks for line drawings without lit fills. The raster fallback is regenerated from the same RIG and H1 designs. 3D package source and binary contract · 3D manifest · Raster fallback source · Fallback manifest. The earlier editorial contour study has its own source record.

Earlier assets & support credit

Earlier manufacturer meshes, product-based illustrations and point samples remain in the development repository for provenance. The public build excludes those visual assets. Their historical source and license records remain available: earlier motion studies, arm notice, guide notice, Go2 notice and G1 notice.

The Gradient Network support relationship was supplied by the project owner. The page uses a plain-text support credit; the downloaded logo is omitted from the public build pending confirmation of brand-asset permission. Support credit record.
