# Instrument Serif

Instrument Serif is designed by the Instrument Serif Project Authors.

The normal and italic Latin WOFF2 files were retrieved from Google Fonts on
2026-10-04. Both are locally hosted; pages make no requests to a font service.
The original SIL Open Font License 1.1 is in `InstrumentSerif-OFL.txt`.

- Italic: https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/instrumentserif/v5/jizHRFtNs2ka5fXjeivQ4LroWlx-6zAjjH7M.woff2

The fonts are used without modification for gallery headings and display type.
Body copy, forms, and controls continue using the locally hosted Inter font.
